Step 1: First remove the power supply, battery. This should be done as soon as possible, just the cell phone has been dropped and preferably within the same liquid. Proceed to remove the SIM card if your handset, not used, the cell also submerged. If I turn off the fall, NOT clothes again.

Step 2: Dry the baterĂay SIM card with a paper towel (as a towel nova) until you see water. This will be sufficient. Your SIM card, if you took off the battery while the phone was submerged and the same with the card, should not be damaged.

Step 3: Remove any housing or accessory that has your phone. Then pat dry with paper towel and NEVER use a hair dryer, not even with cold air. This could force water into smaller circuits. You can put your phone in a ziplock bag and usea machine if you vacuum.

Step 4: After that, put your phone in a pot or jar with lots of uncooked rice. The rice absorbs much moisture, even more than salt. (So put in some rice shakers, so that the salt does not get wet.)

Step 5: The next day, test your phone. If your battery does not work, try with a charger. If it works in this second attempt, only need a new battery. If still not working, you can go for service for one last hope to fix your phone.
